FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What our clients ask us most often before their first shipment with us.

What area does Cavallin Transports cover?+

Our main activity runs on the Bordeaux–Perpignan corridor. Around this axis, we serve the whole of South-West France, from La Rochelle to Bayonne up to Nîmes, based out of our Bon-Encontre site in Lot-et-Garonne. For a one-off shipment outside this area, we rely on the FLO Distribution network.

How do I get a quote or place a first order?+

The simplest way is to describe your need via the contact form or by phone: type of goods, volumes, frequency, pickup and delivery addresses. An operations manager will get back to you directly, with no automated platform in between.

What are your usual lead times on a regional route?+

On our regional area, most morning pickups are delivered the same day or the next day depending on distance. For urgent needs, our express transport service can shorten this — to be discussed directly with our operations team.

Can Cavallin Transports carry dangerous goods?+

Yes. Our drivers are ADR-trained and our vehicles appropriately equipped for goods subject to this regulation, across our entire service area.

Do you offer storage of goods?+

Yes, we have 2,000 m² of warehousing on our Bon-Encontre site, usable alongside transport for temporary storage or ongoing stock management.

What is the FLO Distribution network?+

It's a nationwide network of independent carriers dedicated to pallet distribution. It lets us move your pallets beyond our regional area while remaining your single point of contact for the file.

Is Cavallin Transports part of a group?+

Yes, we are part of DTS Group. This gives us access to additional resources to absorb activity peaks, without changing our day-to-day operations or your usual contact.

What are your opening hours?+

Our Bon-Encontre offices are open Monday to Friday, 8am–12pm and 2pm–7pm (French time).
